Fair Housing Month: Upholding fairness in property management
April marks Fair Housing Month, which is a time to recognize the passage of the Fair Housing Act and reaffirm our shared responsibility to promote equitable housing practices. Signed into law on April 11, 1968, as part of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, the Fair Housing Act expanded federal protections and prohibits discrimination in housing based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability.
